I’m so thrilled with the feedback I’ve been receiving from BIRTH Basic members. It helps me to serve you better when I know what’s working and what isn’t. I am extremely grateful to founding members who’ve helped us navigate the last several weeks leading up to our app launch and never imagined how many of you would report how valuable the content has been and how much you’ve learned. As a little reminder, this is our roadmap to a successful birth. These are an inkling of the umbrella topics we tackle in The BIRTH Circle membership. Things are just getting warmed up and I encourage those of you who are planning a natural birth not to miss out on this one-of-a-kind educational experience!

I couldn’t agree more. I WISH more women were this proactive. If you take a gander at any of us who’ve had multiple children, more often than not you see we’ve learned along the way and wanted to “improve upon” our experiences with each child. It’s never too soon to start preparing for that education!

My first, I wanted an all natural birth. I developed borderline pre-e at almost 38 weeks and let them induce me in all the wrong ways and call a c-section after 29 hours of pure hell (all the side effects from the magnesium, two failed epidurals, pitocin at almost the max). Looking back, there’s so much I would have changed.

My second, I did everything right, and still ended up with a homebirth cesarean.

Hoping this time will be the one I finally make it to the natural vaginal delivery I’ve been fighting so hard for.
